There are several key reasons why voting is important, including its role in allowing individuals to exercise their civic duty and participate in the political process, express their values and beliefs, ensure that the government remains responsive to the needs and concerns of the people, and protect their rights and freedoms.

FYI: It official! Certificate of Election November 7, 2023. For the City of Muskegon Commission Ward 2. Serving 4 consecutive 4-year terms on the commission, and currently serving as vice mayor. It's only by the Grace and Mercy of God.

Hello City of Muskegon,

I would like to thank everyone who voted and supported me on my re-election for a fourth term as your City of Muskegon Commissioner for Ward 2. It is an honor to have served you for 12 years,

I’m looking forward to another 4 years as your commissioner and vice mayor. I would like to extend my appreciation to any candidates who ran for office, and congratulations to all the newly elected officials, and a warm thanks for the service of any elected officials that were unseated, thank you for your service.
I’m looking forward to continuing working together with residents, citizens, public and private sectors in the community, as I will continue to serve with integrity, trust, transparency, honesty, and the fortitude to make tough and good decisions with an inclusive and common-sense approach. The work is not finished; we must work together so opportunities in Muskegon benefit everyone.
