Apologies for the belated post, our Spring Fling member appreciation event last week was a great success! We honored the state champion Muskegon Lady Reds Basketball team with the Nevertheless, She Persisted award for their hard work and perseverance throughout the season. We also learned about the history of PDWC and enjoyed a comedy set performed by Lucky Lee. The food and decorations were wonderful. Thank you to all who helped out and attended!

We have the official word that the Lady Reds Muskegon basketball state champs will attend Spring Fling. We will be presenting them with an achievement award to honor all the hard work they put in to winning the state championship.

The Professional Women’s Hockey League announced it will bring an expansion team to Detroit on Wednesday. The team, owned by Ilitch Sports + Entertainment, will begin play for the 2026-27 season with home games to be played at Little Caesars Arena.
