I never understand how someone can call themselves a Democrat and still vote for Privatization every time it comes up. Democrats support labor, privatization is anti labor.
I am embarrassed by my commissioners vote on privatizing MKG.

Damn so our choices are a Democrat who has not voted Democratic values vs a Republican who is not running on a Republican platform.

I truly believe that the platform of a party should be important in the values a candidate has. This does not mean that unity and compromise can not be reached for positive solutions. In fact I believe it encourages unity and solutions are important between parties. It’s hard to find compermise from people who are on their personal agendas rather then community focused agendas.

I’ve been asked about possibility of write in campaign, but their is so much Mud in the water It is a difficult call.

I miss when Democrats were Democrats and Republicans were Republicans. Understanding differences lead to the ability to find solutions. What is offered up in our ballot is best guess at best.

I appreciated all the support given in my campaign for County Commissioner. Thank you.

Thank you for all of the support & assistance in my campaign. I will still be a precinct delegate for the Democratic Party & I hope that Susie Hughes Will once again join the Muskegon County Democratic Party and the Michigan Democratic Party. I ran against a lie, as the winner of this primary is not a Democrat, as she represents herself to be. Sometimes, truth does not prevail. I do believe that our campaign activated many Democrats and will be a call to action for them to support our Democratic goals and beliefs and our party. I’ve no regrets in undertaking this campaign and am proud to have promoted our county, fought for our MATS, represented our supporters in an honorable way and exposed the pattern of lies and deception that our commisioner so proudly acknowledged. Please vote informed in November and stay informed until we have our next opportunity. Cheers.
