The MCEC Fam hit the road to Howell, MI, for the 2026 Michigan Construction Career Days—and what an experience it was! 🔨🚧

Our students had the opportunity to connect with industry vendors and engage in hands-on activities across the Heavy, Commercial, Residential, and Industrial Construction pathways. From exploring apprenticeship options to learning about the “Earn While You Learn” model, they gained real-world insight into the many opportunities within the skilled trades.

Experiences like this help our students see what’s possible and take the next step toward building their future! 💪👷‍♂️👷‍♀️

Collaboration in Action!

The MCEC Family, in partnership with West Michigan Works, proudly completed the Career Launch Program, empowering 14 students with essential soft skills training and exposure to career pathways in Agriculture, Technology, Skilled Trades, and Health & Human Services.

Each student who completed the program received:

-Stipend
-Personal Chromebook
-Career Launch completion certificate

Together, we are opening doors, building pathways, and preparing students for real-world success! !❤️❤️❤️
