Sorry I left ya hangin' last week. Alright, where were we...

Friday, 05/29/26

11:45 a.m. – A financial institution located in the W17100 block of Janesville Rd. called the police department to report a subject had just attempted cashing a fraudulent check in the amount of $1,860, but left on foot when they realized the teller wasn’t biting. An officer responded to check the area, but did not locate the suspect. Based off of information received from the employee and surveillance footage, a 54 year old Milwaukeean is a person of interest at this time.
2:52 p.m. – Officers and TCFD paramedics responded to the intersection of Janesville Rd. and College Ave. for the report of a two vehicle accident. No injuries were reported. Both vehicles were still drivable post-crash. A 16 year old Wind Lake resident was cited for following too closely and a crash report was completed.
3:32 p.m. – A 56 year old Waukesha resident decided that the road closure barricades on Muskego Dam Dr. didn’t apply to him. He was pulled over as a result. He had to be temporarily detained, as listening is obviously not his forté. Tell him what he's won Rod! He was ultimately issued citations for disobeying and moving the road signs.
4:47 p.m. – Officers and TCFD paramedics responded to the intersection of N. Cape Rd. and Ryan Dr. for the report of a two vehicle accident. Minor injuries were reported with this one, but no one was transported. Both vehicles had to be towed. The CAD entry does not indicate anyone being cited, so I don’t know who was at fault. Crash report completed.
8:09 p.m. – A resident of the S7800 block of Overlook Bay Rd. responded to the police department to report being harassed by their downstairs neighbor. An officer was summoned. Further investigation revealed the “harassment” was more of a civil issue, but instructions on how to obtain a restraining order or locate mediation services were provided.
11:52 p.m. – Residents of a home in the S7400 block of Quietwood Dr. called the police department two separate times. The first was to make a complaint about several yoots ding d**g ditching in the area. The second phone call was to report damage to their garage door that was presumably caused by said yoots. Investigation continuing.

Saturday, 05/30/26

1:49 a.m. – A 16 year old Muskego yoot was pulled over near the intersection of Racine Ave. and Janesville Rd. after he was observed speeding. Because we were outside the permitted hours of our graduated driver’s license restrictions, we got two citations instead of one. His vehicle was parked in the lot of a nearby business and he was given a ride back home to a super happy mom.
8:01 a.m. – The spirit was not moving the soul of a 49 year old resident of the S6500 block of Whittier Terrace who called the police department to report her neighbor was blaring gospel music, and she thought it was a bit too early. An officer responded and located the source. Contact was made with the 67 year old residing on Byron Rd. who was advised of the complaint. He apologized and indicated not realizing the time, then turned down the volume. Amen.
11:21 a.m. – A 37 year old resident of the W17500 block of Marybeck Lane called the police department to report his mailbox had been struck by a garbage truck sometime within the last hour. An officer responded to assess the damage. Investigation continuing.
12:55 p.m. – A 49 year old Wind Lake resident was arrested for 3rd Offense OWI (alcohol related) as well as Possession of Bo**er Sugar and associated paraphernalia. After being caught doing 61 mph in a 40 mph zone, our upstanding citizen pulled into the driveway of a residence located in the S10400 block of Racine Ave. Initially, the stopping officer thought our driver may have had to go to the bathroom, because after putting the vehicle in park, she quickly exited and walked to the rear of the home. Well, a few minutes later, she reappeared, but was missing her shoes and shirt. Furthermore, the homeowner exited the house and wanted to know what in tarnation was happening. The officer then quickly put two and two together. Upstanding citizen initially tried giving the officer her sister’s ID, because her license is revoked due to…another OWI conviction. The ignition interlock device she’s supposed to have in any vehicle she’s driving was not in the vehicle she was driving, just a purse containing the bo**er sugar and several open containers of vodka. Her vehicle was ultimately towed, and she was towed to an area hospital where her blood was drawn to be analyzed later. After that, it was off to WCJ for an orange pants party. How’s that for a Saturday afternoon?
5:38 p.m. – Multiple 9-1-1 calls were received for a motorcycle crash near the intersection of STH 36 and Muskego Dam Dr. Upon officer arrival, one witness informed them that the operator of the motorcycle had walked away from the scene of the crash and into the backyard of a nearby residence. Officers located the operator, a 21 year old Hales Corners resident, seated in a lawn chair with visible injuries, surrounded by other subjects attending a party there. The operator was eventually arrested for 1st Offense OWI and Operating a Motor Vehicle with a Suspended Driver’s License. Apparently, we thought getting drunk and taking our buddy’s bike for a spin was a good idea. The motorcycle was eventually located in the homeowner’s garage. He had just purchased it, so it wasn’t even registered, and we’re still waiting on proof of insurance. Have fun paying for that fix. Our operator denied the need to be transported to a medical facility for treatment, so he was taken to the department, booked, cited, and later released to a sober friend, broken teeth and all. He’s lucky it wasn’t worse.
10:08 p.m. – A 23 year old Madison resident responded to the police department and requested an officer es**rt her to a residence in the S10800 block of Crowbar Dr. to retrieve her dog. We obliged. Contact was made at the residence with I’m assuming her ex, who refused to give up the dog. We had 0 right to take it, so we left. With these gas prices, I really hope she didn’t actually drive all the way from Madison for that. Best of luck.

Sunday, 05/31/26

7:51 a.m. – A 51 year old resident of the W18200 block of Janesville Rd. called the police department to report fishing gear totaling in excess of $4,000 had been stolen from his boat. An officer responded to gather further details. The approximate time of the theft is unknown. Investigation continuing.
9:44 a.m. – An 84 year old resident of the W17100 block of College Ave. called the police department to report hearing a loud noise the evening before, but had not known what it was. After locating the hole in the windshield of her vehicle, she was pretty sure this was the source of said noise. She was concerned that her vehicle had been hit by a bullet given the size of the hole. An officer responded. Investigation revealed it was in fact a projectile in the form of a bird. Ouch. Case solved.
12:27 p.m. – A Ladysmith P.D. officer called our dispatch center and requested our officers check the parking lot of the business located in the S6500 block of Moorland Rd. for a vehicle that had been reported as stolen by one of their residents. Upon officers’ arrival, the vehicle was located with two other Ladysmith residents inside, ages 17 and 18, and one dalmatian puppy. The vehicle was secured on scene for the owner to retrieve at their leisure. The puppy was retrieved by HAWS. As for the two occupants, they were arrested for operating the vehicle without the owner’s consent, then transported to WCJ for an orange pants party and to await extradition to Rusk County. Apparently, there is relation to the vehicle owner, but they didn’t have permission to take the vehicle on their “joy ride”, and the relative is not the forgiving type.
2:20 p.m. – A 31 year old Stallis resident was arrested following a two vehicle crash near the intersection of Janesville Rd. and Sandalwood Dr. Officers, TCFD/paramedics all responded. Minor injuries were reported. At least one vehicle had to be towed. It would have simply been citations for inattentive driving and driving an uninsured vehicle, but because he had devil’s lettuce in the vehicle, he got to wear handcuffs and go for a ride in a squad car too. He was transported to the police department, booked, cited, and later released. Crash reported completed.

Bonus Material From Last Week:

Monday, 05/25/26

12:40 a.m. – A U/I complainant called the police department to report flashing lights coming from underneath the west bleachers at Inpro Field. An officer responded and located a few yoots near the district office on Woods Rd. Parents were called, rides were arranged, and after verbal warnings for the curfew violations were issued, everyone went home.
4:44 a.m. – Officers responded to a residence located in the W19500 block of Lochcrest Blvd. after a 35 year old Milwaukeean called the police department to complain that one of the occupants at the residence refused to give her a ride home. Why don’t you wait till the birds start chirping and ask then? Jeez. Go back to bed. I said occupants, because the person our caller was complaining about has an address listing to New Berlin. Anywho, upon arrival, officers made contact with the complainant. Further investigation revealed she was wanted by the Milwaukee Co. Sheriff’s Office on a valid warrant. I guess you’re going to get that ride after all…just not home. She was transported to WCJ for an orange pants party.
7:29 a.m. – A 72 year old resident of the S9900 block of Jay Dr. called the police department to report a vehicle they felt was illegally parked. The caller stated the vehicle was parked partially on the grass of a park near Chuck Way and Country Club Lane and did not belong to any of the nearby residents. An officer responded to find the vehicle legally parked in a stall near the playground. Thanks for the call.
11:36 a.m. – A 34 year old resident of the S7500 block of Kathryn Ct. called the police department reporting the brake line on his vehicle had been cut and observed damage elsewhere on said vehicle. An officer responded to assess. Further evaluation revealed the brake line was severed due to age, and other observed “damage” was in relation to general maintenance needed on the vehicle. 10-8. What kind of enemies do you have that you’re in fear of having your brake lines cut, and what did you do to gain such enemies???
4:26 p.m. – A 19 year old Milwaukeean was pulled over near the intersection of STH 36 and Champions Dr. because the vehicle he was driving was not registered. While speaking with the driver at their window, the stopping officer got a nice whiff of jazz cabbage coming from inside. Of the occupants inside the vehicle, the operator took the fall for the cabbage and was arrested. They were transported to the P.D., booked, cited, and later released. Real easy way not to get pulled over is by registering your car, but we appreciate you bringing attention to your illegal activities.
4:30 p.m. – An officer responded to the parking lot of a business located in the W16800 block of Janesville Rd. for the report of a two vehicle accident. No injuries were reported and no tow was needed. Crash report completed.
8:41 p.m. – A 64 year old resident of the S7100 block of Lannon Dr. called the police department to report her son’s 29 year old friend was at her house, heavily intoxicated, and yelling at the neighbors. Then tell him to go home! Officers responded. Upon arrival, drunk guy had calmed down and our caller no longer wished to be a complainant. Awesome.

Tuesday, 05/26/26

8:53 a.m. – A 19 year old Big Bend resident called the police department to report a school bus had conducted a U-turn in front of him near the intersection of N. Cape Rd. and Schaefer Dr. which they felt was reckless. Our caller stated that had he been driving faster or intoxicated, he would have hit the bus. So you’re saying that as a result of you following the speed limit and not drinking and driving, nothing bad happened??? The caller was ultimately transferred over to Franklin P.D. as the bus had left the city.
11:05 a.m. – A 60 year old resident of the S6400 block of Gold Dr. called the police department to report receiving harassing phone calls and text messages from his ex that also resides in the city. An officer was summoned. Further investigation revealed that the ex had not contacted our complainant in nearly three weeks, but he was “anticipating” harassment. Well, harassment that hasn’t occurred is not harassment. Our caller had already blocked the ex on his phone and social media and he did not want the officer to contact the ex. What would you like to have happen today, sir? Ultimately, he was told to call if and when the ex started actually harassing him.
12:15 p.m. – A 63 year old Milwaukeean was stopped in the parking lot of his place of employment located in the W18700 block of Gemini Dr. He was operating a vehicle that had been loaned to him by a family member. They obviously had forgot to tell him that the vehicle wasn’t registered. Making matters worse was the fact his license was revoked, he was outside his designated occupational hours, and he was on probation for multiple firearm and drug related felony offenses. The traffic offense violated the terms of his probation. He would be arrested, booked, and cited before being released as his agent did not wish to place a hold on him. Lucky him.

In a last ditch effort, we're seeking your assistance with locating this tailgate. It was stolen off of the pictured truck around 11 p.m. on May 10th near the intersection of Kelsey Dr. and Crowbar Dr. The owner is a local firefighter who was attempting to sell the vehicle and will now have to lower their asking price if the tailgate is not found. If you have any information regarding its whereabouts, please contact Officer Beck at (262) 679-4130 reference IR 26-9327. Tips can remain anonymous. Thank you!

Hope everyone had a nice, relaxing, extended weekend. Now back to work!😭 Here's what we were up to:

Friday, 05/22/26

8:24 a.m. – A U/I complainant called the police department to report observing a male subject walking along the sidewalk near the intersection of Janesville Rd. and Tess Corners Dr. carrying what the caller believed was a propane tank and spraying the contents of said tank onto the ground. Could this be a landscaper spraying for weeds possibly? Are they wearing a uniform? An officer responded. A landscaping company’s truck was located nearby as were a few employees. No propane tank being emptied onto the sidewalk was observed. 10-8.
10:30 a.m. – A 58 year old Burlington resident with a warrant was located in the parking lot of a business located in the W17800 block of Janesville Rd. The warrant was through the Racine Co. Sheriff’s Office for operating a motor vehicle with a revoked driver's license status. She was taken into custody, and due to the warrant not having a bond amount, she was transported to WCJ for an orange pants party. It looks like bail jumping charges were added later. Fun.
5:50 p.m. – A 66 year old resident of the S7500 block of Kingston Dr. called the police department to report her neighbor’s fire pit was too close to her fence and they were burning at the time of the call. Okay then. An officer responded, measuring tape in hand. Upon arrival, the distance between pit and fence was measured and confirmed to be within municipal code parameters. Our caller was advised. Crisis averted (insert eyeroll here).
6:22 p.m. – A 52 year old New Berlin resident called the police department to report being followed while en route to his place of employment located in the W17000 block of Janesville Rd. The investigating officer would later learn that this stemmed from an earlier road rage incident. The operator of the suspect vehicle, which was described as a raised, white pickup with aftermarket rims and a large exhaust (so every other truck in the high school parking lot?), was a M/W subject with a beard, wearing a hat (so half the men in Muskego?). A third party caller would later corroborate our complainant’s claims, however the suspect driver and vehicle were never located.
6:44 p.m. – A 74 year old Waterford resident was cited for following too closely after causing an accident near the intersection of Woods Rd. and Lannon Dr. No injuries were reported. A crash report was completed.
11:09 p.m. – A 15 year old Wind Lake yoot was cited for a curfew violation after being located near the intersection of Janesville Rd. and Lannon Dr. What first drew the officer’s attention was the yoot riding on the rear of an e-bike with no rear tail lamps. The operator of the e-bike was nowhere to be found, and according to the yoot, had dumped him due to not wanting to have contact with police. Some friend. Mom was contacted and responded to pick up her child.
11:17 p.m. – A 40 year old resident of the W17500 block of Scenic Drive called the police department believing they were in need of medical attention after taking some “old Molly”. That’s not nice. You should never reference a lady’s age. But seriously, why are we taking “old Molly”, hmmm??? An officer and TCFD paramedics responded. Upon arrival, the caller refused to be transported to an area medical facility. Then why did you call? Phone contact was made with his wife who told us to leave him there. Yes, ma'am!

Saturday, 05/23/26

12:26 a.m. – Two yoots were pulled over near the intersection of Lannon Dr. and Janesville Rd. after the stopping officer observed them blow through a stop sign near the intersection. They were doing a really bad job of not drawing attention to themselves prior to that, as they were observed continuously circling the area. One yoot initially lied about her age, because she was only 15 and out past curfew. The driver was cited for the stop sign violation and the other was cited for the curfew violation prior to mom retrieving them as well. It’s 12:26 a.m., do you know where your children are?
10:17 a.m. – A 61 year old resident of the W17400 block of Janesville Rd. called the police department to report his vehicle had been stolen. If it’s the vehicle I’m thinking of, it had not moved in well over a year. An officer responded to gather further details. The vehicle was initially entered into NCIC as missing/stolen, but a neighbor would later tip off a different officer that the vehicle had in fact been towed. Contact was made with the property manager who confirmed this, and the vehicle was located at the associated tow company’s yard. Yeah, that’ll happen. My guess is they warned you to move it several times too.
3:53 p.m. – A 61 year old resident of the W14900 block of Cornell Circle was arrested on domestic violence related charges through the City of Brookfield P.D. One of our officers responded to assist with the arrest.
7:56 p.m. – A 25 year old New Berlin resident was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and operating a motor vehicle with a revoked license status in the parking lot of the business located in the S6500 block of Moorland Rd. Officers and TCFD paramedics initially responded for what was believed to be a medical emergency due to the arrestee being observed passed out and unresponsive behind the wheel of her vehicle, which was still in drive. Once it was determined there was no medical emergency and she was simply doing things she shouldn’t be doing, she was transported to the police department, booked, cited, and released to her mommy.
9:24 p.m. – A 21 year old Madison resident was cited for hitting a parked vehicle in the W18900 block of Steeplechase Dr. then leaving the scene without saying anything. Fortunately for the vehicle owner, there were witnesses. The vehicle that was struck was not occupied, so no injuries to report, just a hit and run crash report to complete. Those darn, pesky stationary objects.
11:03 p.m. – Officers responded to a residence in the S10500 block of N. Shore Dr. after a U/I complainant called to report a loud party at the home where they believed underage drinking was occurring. Upon arrival, contact was made with those present, who were advised of the complaint. A yoot residing there ended up being cited for UAD. Thanks for the call and tip!

Sunday, 05/24/26

3:22 a.m. – An officer stopped out with a vehicle with severe front end damage that was occupied and parked in the parking lot of a business located in the S6400 block of Racine Ave. Contact was made with the operator, a 36 year old Milwaukeean, who indicated having hit a deer while driving on I-43. The Waukesha Co. Sheriff’s Office was contacted and notified of the crash occurring in their jurisdiction, so a deputy responded. In conjunction with the crash, the operator was also intoxicated, so the deputy handled that too. The subject was subsequently arrested for 1st Offense OWI and transported to WCJ for an orange pants party. A tow company was contacted and removed the vehicle.
7:21 p.m. – Officers and TCFD paramedics responded to the intersection of Oakridge Lane and Hackberry Hill Ct. for the report of a single vehicle accident. The vehicle involved in the crash had previously been called in as a reckless driver. Upon arrival, contact was made with the operator who was not impaired, but rather suffering from a medical related issue. They were transported to an area medical facility for treatment and a crash report was completed.
9:04 p.m. – Enough neighbors called and complained about the music coming from a party in the W14900 block of Woods Rd. that an officer responded and told the 32 year old homeowner that the amps had to be turned off and the other speakers turned down. They complied and everyone that wanted to go to bed was able to.

We've gotten several calls already, so we're just letting you know that the Federal Marshals are not coming for you because you missed court in Milwaukee County...as a Waukesha County resident. Don't pay them anything, just hang up and block the number. Or, if you're not busy, use your best elderly person voice, pretend you're hard of hearing, and make them repeat themselves 50 times before hanging up like I do. 🤣
