It's severe weather season in the south! 🌪🌩☔️
We invited Jody Hitt, the Director of the Colbert County Emergency Management Agency to come by this week to go over tips and procedures when we experience severe weather in our area.
We want to make sure we're prepared!
He answered questions and reviewed what we needed to do and where the local shelters were.

**This includes Muscle Shoals Living Center. 😭We will post updates as to whether we'll be open Wednesday January 28th.

Senior Centers across the NACOLG region will be closed on Monday, January 26 and Tuesday, January 27.

Centers are expected to reopen Wednesday, January 28, but check back here for updates just in case there are any changes made.

Today we honored Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. in a program organized and led by one of our active members, Mrs. Mary Stevens of Sheffield. She had her pastor and other church members and friends here to support her, as well as many Center members, as she did an informative and touching reading about Dr. King.. She gave us all much to think about.
Thank you, Mary, for your time and your efforts today to keep Dr. King's dream alive.
