Brick-Hatton Volunteer Fire Dept. We offer Fire and EMS protection services voluntarily to our community. We are always accepting new members.

We hope to be able to use this page to relay information and keep in touch with the community. Feel free to use this page to interact with other members of the community and express you comments, concerns, and words of encouragement and praise. If you'd like to join our FD we have training every 2nd and 4th thursday night of every month at station 2 at the intersection of River Road and Brick School Road at 6:30pm.

November 7th. Danny and his crew needs our assistance. For those who do not know Danny, he and I shared a rocky relationship before we truly were able to understand, learn, and grow from one another's point of view. Maturity and growth comes at all ages and believe it or not, you can teach an old dawg new tricks.

The Southard Family remains strong, vibrant, and resilient through this latest stage of life. Like most in the fire service, we lean on one another through the rough patches, table talk in the back of the bay through the interesting stories, and poke fun whenever possible as a means to get through them all.

Danny has led the pack at every turn always looking out for his family, his crew, and every one of you.

We would like to express a large "Thank You!!" to the staff of Hatton Elementary School for allowing us to use a portion of their parking lot yesterday. We were able to accomplish hose and ladder testing for the Brick Hatton Volunteer Fire Department, Nitrate City Volunteer Fire Department, and the Leighton Volunteer Fire Department. This was a requirement for the ISO inspection which directly results in a variable to Homeowners Insurance Coverage based on Fire Protection.

This morning you will see several fire trucks near Hatton Elementary School. We are conducting hose testing as part of our continuous progress of working towards a lower ISO rating for our homeowners. Nonpanic, no emergency.
