💙Adult Grief Support Group💙

THP is offering an Adult Grief Support Group Monday, September 14th, at 12 pm.

This group is open to ANY adult who has or is experiencing grief. This group is in addition to our bi-weekly all ages support group. Any adults are welcome to join us regardless of type of loss or previous THP involvement. We hope to continue offering this group monthly to meet the need of adults experiencing grief in our community.

RSVP is not required to participate in this group but is encouraged. To RSVP you may call our office at 256-383-7133, email [email protected], or message us directly.

We have a HUGE shoutout and THANK YOU to give to a very special friend of The Healing Place- Russell Mefford!

Russell has been a tireless supporter and advocate for The Healing Place by spearheading the Muscle Shoals Meets concert series each year. The Muscle Shoals Meets Concert series is a fundraiser that helps The Healing Place further our mission of providing grief support and education to children and families in Lauderdale, Colbert, and Franklin counties by donating a portion of the proceeds directly to The Healing Place.

While we wish that we could give a special thanks to each and very person involved in making the Muscle Shoals Meets concert series a success- there are simply too many to name. Instead, we offer a true and heartfelt thanks to each and every musician, artist, attendee, supporter, volunteer, advocate, donor, and sponsor who helped make this years concert a success. You are part of providing hope and healing to children and families all across the Shoals.

REGISTER NOW for the Healing Place Charity Classic Golf Tournament!

💚 The Healing Place Charity Classic Golf Tournament, with its four person scramble format, provides the opportunity for area golfers to support the work of The Healing Place. The Healing Place Charity Classic Golf Tournament takes place in the fall of every year and invites area golfers, community members, and local businesses and organizations to give back to The Healing Place. The tournament provides opportunity to play or to sponsor the event.

💚 The tournament takes place at Cypress Lakes in Muscle Shoals, AL and offers 2 sh***un start times- one at 8am and one at 1pm. Each start time is limited to 18 teams. The registration fee for the tournament includes team registration, players breakfast, players lunch, and 2 mulligans. The registration fee is $500 per team ($125 per person).

💚 The Healing Place Charity Classic Golf Tournament also provides the opportunity for local businesses and organizations to sponsor the event. By sponsoring the event your business/organization will be featured on all Healing Place social media, the website, and on signage at the event. We would love to have you/your business participate in this event to benefit families all across the Shoals and surrounding areas.

TONIGHT 💙

‼️GROUP NIGHT IS THURSDAY‼️

💙 We are so excited to see everyone THURSDAY (August 27th) for a Grief Support Group!

💙 Group will begin at 5:30 with dinner!

💙 At 6pm we will separate into our four age groups: littles, middles, teens, and adults.

💙 Group will end at 7pm! Please be ready for pick-up at 7.

💙 We would love to have any children and families in need of grief support join us!

Several times a year THP receives phone calls requesting support services for grief related to Divorce.

While we do not see clients outside of grief related to death-there are support groups available in our community ❤️‍🩹
