A huge THANK YOU to everyone who registered for our Summer Reading Program, Unearth a Story! We are excited to share that we already have over 200 children signed up and ready for a summer full of reading, learning, and dinosaur-sized fun!

If you weren't able to make it to Sign-Up Day, don't worry—you still have plenty of time to join the adventure! Registration will remain open through June 30, so it's not too late to sign up through the Beanstack app and start earning prizes.

If you've registered but haven't picked up your starter bag yet, stop by the library anytime during our regular hours and we'll have it ready for you.

We can't wait to spend the summer reading with all of you! 🦕📚💚

Join us next week on Tuesday, June 2nd at 10:30 a.m. for a fun dinosaur-themed Storytime! We will be reading I Am a Tyrannosaurus by Anna Grossnickle Hines.

📚🦖 Summer Reading Sign Up Day is here at Muscle Shoals Public Library! ALL DAY!🦖📚

Registration for our Summer Reading Program begins TODAY through the Beanstack app! Be sure to stop by the library to pick up your starter bags filled with goodies and more information to kick off a summer full of reading fun.

Come visit all of our library dinosaurs, get your picture taken, and have some popcorn with our baby triceratops! 🦕🍿 We also have lots of dinosaur games and activities to enjoy. Help us chalk the walk, paint a rock to add to our library dinosaur in the flower bed, and explore all the fun happening at the library today!

We can’t wait to read and celebrate with you this summer! ☀️

🦖 Tween Maker Space Craft of the Week! 🧵

This week, tweens ages 9–12 can stop by the Maker Space to create their very own felt dinosaur plush! “Sew a Dino” is beginner-friendly and perfect for anyone wanting to learn basic sewing skills while making something fun to take home.

Just sign in at the circulation desk and head to the Maker Space to get started!

Available the week of May 26th at the Muscle Shoals Public Library.

Grab your friends and join us for our next Adult Craft Night at the Muscle Shoals Public Library!

Join us as we paint our own canvas beach bags and get creative with fun summer designs. 🎨👜☀️
