Since 1927, the dedicated and courageous men and women of Murrysville Volunteer Fire Company have each donated hundreds of hours each year to keep citizens, businesses and visitors safe. Much has changed since man drawn carts were on the streets of our town, but the one thing that hasn't changed is our members' commitment to service above all else. Over the years, our citizens and elected leaders have remained committed to making sure our trucks and capabilities are "state of the art." Those other emergencies that we respond to and prepare for are vehicle accidents and extrications, natural disasters, and specialized rescue calls like trench, hazardous materials, confined space, and rope rescue calls. We invite you and your family to learn more about the Murrysville Volunteer Fire Company #1 and the services we provide by contacting a firefighter or stopping by the station for a tour. We also invite you to consider donating your time by joining the company as an active or support member. Monetary donations are equally important to keep the station running at an optimal level.
