🎓 Connecting with the next generation of caregivers!

Our amazing Marti had the opportunity to visit Trinity Health Academy and speak with their CNA students about caregiving careers and opportunities with Visiting Angels.

What made the visit especially meaningful was the conversation. The students were engaged, asked great questions, and wanted to know more about what makes caregiving with Visiting Angels different. They especially appreciated hearing about how much effort we put into matching the right caregiver with the right client, creating relationships where both can truly thrive. ❤️

We also loved hearing their positive reaction to the way we value and compensate our caregivers. We believe great care starts with great caregivers, and that means making sure they feel supported, appreciated, and respected for the important work they do.

A huge thank you to Mrs. Wright and the entire Trinity Health Academy team for welcoming Marti and allowing us to connect with your students. We are excited about the relationship we are building and hope to see a few of these future CNAs become Visiting Angels soon! 👏

Grief looks different for everyone. It doesn't follow a timeline, and it isn't something we simply "get over." Whether you've lost a loved one recently or many years ago, it's okay to grieve, to remember, and to take the time you need to heal.

At Visiting Angels, we have the privilege of walking alongside families through many seasons of life. We know that sometimes the greatest gift we can offer is simply being present with compassion, patience, and understanding.

We are so fortunate to have Angela as part of our Visiting Angels family! She generously volunteers her time to help answer phones, brainstorm ideas, support our office team, and be that familiar, friendly voice our caregivers and clients have come to know.

Angela may be known as “Auntie” around the office, but she is truly an important part of our team. Her willingness to jump in wherever needed, share her ideas, and simply make the office a better place does not go unnoticed.

💙 Community Partner Spotlight: VNA Care Hospice 💙

Kristen recently had the opportunity to visit the wonderful team at VNA Care Hospice, bringing breakfast and sharing something we are incredibly passionate about at Visiting Angels: helping Veterans and their families understand the benefits and resources that may be available to them. 🇺🇸

Kristen shared information about programs available to Veterans as well as benefits that may be available to surviving spouses. We love connecting with organizations like VNA Care Hospice so that together, we can better educate and support families in our community.

While visiting, Kristen also learned about their beautiful memorial tree. Families can purchase a tribute to place on the tree in memory of a loved one who has passed, with proceeds helping support VNA Care Hospice as a nonprofit organization. Such a meaningful way to honor someone while helping continue their mission. 💙

Copper takes his role at Visiting Angels very seriously... boosting office morale, providing unconditional support, and making sure no one gets through the door without a proper greeting. His compensation package is highly competitive and consists mostly of treats, belly rubs, and attention. 😂

Today, we celebrate the incredible men and women who have helped shape our families, our communities, and our lives.

Our seniors are our teachers, our Veterans, our parents, grandparents, neighbors, and friends. They carry a lifetime of wisdom, resilience, and stories that deserve to be heard, honored, and remembered.

At Visiting Angels, it is our privilege to help older adults continue living safely, independently, and with dignity in the place they love most... home. Every day, we are reminded that caregiving isn't just about providing assistance. It's about preserving independence, building meaningful relationships, and helping our clients continue writing the next chapter of their lives.

Please join us in welcoming Leti Puentes, our new Care Coordinator, to the Visiting Angels team! ❤️

A Temecula native, Leti brings valuable experience in senior care, including working as a Memory Care Coordinator specializing in dementia and Alzheimer’s care. Through that experience, she discovered that working with seniors isn’t just something she enjoys, it’s truly where her heart is.

Leti believes strongly in compassion, advocacy, and being a trusted voice for seniors and their families as they navigate the challenges that can come with aging.

When she’s not working, Leti is a proud mom of three wonderful children who keep her busy! She loves taking them to Disneyland, swimming, and spending time together at the park.

We’re excited to have Leti joining our Visiting Angels family and can’t wait for our clients, families, and caregivers to get to know her! 💙
