🏐 1,000 CAREER KILLS! 🏐

Yesterday, we celebrated an incredible milestone for MVHS Junior, Summer Tukua: 1,000 career kills! 💥In volleyball, a kill is a successful attack that lands in the opponent’s court or results in a point for your team. Reaching 1,000 kills means a player has delivered 1,000 successful attacks over the course of her high school career.

This is a remarkable accomplishment, and Summer reached this milestone as a junior! Her accomplishments extend far beyond the court:
⭐ 4.3 GPA
🏅 1st Team JVA All-National Team, Class of 2028

Congratulations, Summer, on an extraordinary milestone! Your leadership, academic rigor, dedication and commitment to excellence are inspiring. 1,000 down. More to come! 💪🏐

Today, schools across our District came together to remember the events of September 11, 2001, honor Patriot’s Day, and recognize the heroes who continue to serve and protect our community. Their example reminds us that service, compassion, courage and unity can make a difference. 🇺🇸

We remember those we lost. We honor those who served. And we are grateful for those who continue to serve. 🇺🇸

🏈 Once a Nighthawk, Always a Nighthawk!🏈

Three familiar faces from the Murrieta Valley High School Nighthawk family lit up TV screens last night: Tiger Bachmeier, Bear Bachmeier, and Asa Chapman, all proud Nighthawk alumni! ❤🦅

It was one of those moments that makes our community so proud. Seeing our graduates continue to compete at the collegiate level, and seeing the relationships and Nighthawk pride that continue long after graduation, is what high school athletics are all about. And the Bachmeier Nighthawk legacy is still going strong!

This weekend, the Press-Enterprise highlighted current MVHS sophomore quarterback Buck Bachmeier, calling him “Nighthawks Football Royalty.” Following in the footsteps of his older brothers, Buck is carrying on a remarkable family tradition at Murrieta Valley. 👑🦅

From the Nighthawk nest to college football fields across the country, we are incredibly proud of our alumni and excited to watch the next generation rise.

Lily inspires us and empowers us to make a difference during Childhood Cancer Awareness Month!

🎗️Meet Lily, a 2nd grader at EHC and a true warrior. For nearly 5 years, Lily has faced cancer 5 times. Each time she has fought her way through. Today, Lily is in remission from her 5th battle✨

Throughout Lily’s journey, her school has been there every step of the way. 💛 Her family says the school’s incredible support has extended not only to Lily, but also to her 2 siblings, who are part of the Murrieta Valley USD family as well.

When Lily’s family approached her Principal and Assistant Principal with an idea to recognize Childhood Cancer Awareness Month throughout September, they were thrilled to help bring her vision to life. For Lily’s family, EHC is more than a school, it’s family. ❤️

We are honored to stand alongside Lily and her family, to celebrate her strength and resilience, and help shine a light on Lily’s “Penny Collection” during this month. Her advocacy for families affected by childhood cancer is inspirational! If you have friends or family at EHC, feel free to give them pennies for Lily's penny drive.💛🎗️
