🚒 Training Today for Tomorrow’s Emergencies! 🚒
Today, C Shift crews from Murrells Inlet Garden City Fire Rescue (Engine 77) and Surfside Beach Fire Department (Tower 56 & Rescue 56) teamed up for high-impact aerial operations training involving a fly standpipe.
During NFPA 1410 multi-company drills:
Engine 77 established a reliable water supply.
Tower 56 performed a reverse lay to position their apparatus, laddered the structure, and deployed a handline to simulate fighting a fire on the roof.
Joint exercises like this sharpen our skills, strengthen inter-department communication, and ensure seamless teamwork when our communities need us most. Great work by all crews today! 👏🔥
