Mt. Rushmore Trip Update – Second Half of Our Adventure!

The second half of our trip has been just as amazing as the first! We enjoyed visiting Mt. Rushmore, exploring Custer State Park and driving the famous Wildlife Loop, where we saw some incredible animals in their natural habitat. We also had a wonderful time at Fort Hays Old West Town and were inspired by the magnificent Crazy Horse Memorial.

Last, but certainly not least, we visited the breathtaking Badlands National Park. What a beautiful sight to see! The stunning landscapes remind us that God truly has a way of showing off His beautiful world. Every turn revealed another masterpiece of His creation.

We have been blessed with wonderful weather, great memories, lots of laughter, and the opportunity to share this journey together. Thank you to everyone who has been following along and keeping us in your thoughts and prayers! ❤️🙏

Could you help us out and share this please?

There are people in our community making impossible choices right now.

Gas or groceries.
Medicine or dinner.
The electric bill or a meal.

Some are skipping meals so their kids can eat.

We’ve heard those stories, and we can’t pretend they don’t exist…

So this Sunday, June 14th, we’re doing another Feed the Community at Archers starting at 5 pm - 7 pm.

Free spaghetti.
Free soup.
Additional food available while supplies last.

No paperwork.
No questions.
No judgment.

Just walk in and tell us you heard about the spaghetti or soup.
That’s all!

And because dignity matters…

There will be absolutely no filming, no pictures, and no social media content of guests receiving food. If we see anyone recording, we’ll respectfully ask them to stop or leave.

Helping people isn’t content.
Helping people is helping people.
If you need a meal this Sunday, come see us.

We’ll save you a seat. 🥰

The Senior Center’s Mt. Rushmore adventure is off to a fantastic start! Three days into our trip, we’ve already enjoyed many memorable sights and experiences together.

We’ve visited the Mormon Trail Center, had dinner at Red Robin, explored the famous Corn Palace in Mitchell, South Dakota, and stopped at the one-and-only Wall Drug.

The weather has been perfect, making our travels even more enjoyable. We’ve had a few hotel accommodation issues, but we’re hopeful they’ll be resolved soon. As with any adventure, a few bumps in the road become part of the story!

Most importantly, everyone is having a great time, making memories, sharing laughs, and enjoying this journey together. Thank you to everyone who has kept us in your thoughts and prayers. We look forward to sharing more highlights from the road!
