Thank you, to all of you who took your time to vote in this year's municipal election. I am very grateful to be re-elected to our City Council. I love our community and I am committed to working hard for the people who live in district 4. Votes will be finalized Nov. 16th and I am confident my lead will continue.

Today is the day to get out and VOTE!!! If you haven't mailed your ballot in already, be sure to drop it in a drop box.

Ballots mailed after yesterday morning will not be counted. If you didn't receive a ballot you will need to vote in person.

The closest polling location is at Murray City Hall (5025 S. State St.) There will also be a drop box located there.

It was so great to see so many familiar faces at Meet the Candidates night on Wednesday. One of the questions asked was "What do I think about density?"
My response to that is that we need to be very strategic and thoughtful in planning for density. We need to understand that if we don't, the legislature will make that decision for us and that isn't something we can let happen. Now I want to know, what are your thoughts on density?

I was very honored to present a plaque to Ali Ibanez. She is a former Murray City resident who graduated from Cottonwood High School. Her parents are still residents of Murray while she is in college. Ali was a member of the USA women's basketball team that won a bronze medal at the 2020 Tokyo Paralympics. Congratulations Ali!

This last month, Charles and I were able to spend some quality time with a few of our wonderful grandchildren. I look forward to getting back on the campaign trail this week and working to make sure Murray stays a place that our children and grandchildren can continue to enjoy for generations to come.
