Road Closure Notice: The Street Department will be closing the portion of South 11th Street between Vine Street and Mulberry Street today (June 10, 2026) from 9:00AM to 12:00PM Central (10:00AM to 1:00PM Eastern) for street repair.

Upcoming Road Closure Notice: On June 8th through the 11th, the portion of South 3rd Street between Poplar and Elm Streets will be closed between the times of 3:30PM and 8:30PM Central (4:30PM-9:30PM Eastern). Event personnel will be at the barricade locations to allow access for emergency services if needed.

Upcoming Road Closure Notice: On May 30th, 2026, the portion of South 9th Street between Poplar Street and Vine Street will be closed to through traffic for a coordinated Hospital Walk. The walk will begin at 9:00AM Central (10:00AM Eastern) and conclude at or before 11:00AM Central (12:00PM Eastern). South 9th Street will be the only closure, and barricades will be attended to by event personnel to allow for emergency services to access at all times. The walk will continue through the south parking lot, along the 8th St. sidewalk, the Poplar sidewalk, and back to South 9th Street.

May 27, 2026 Road Closure Notice: The water department will have College Terrace from KY Ave to 17th St closed until 3:30PM Central Time (4:30PM Eastern Time) today.

Sanitation Holiday Schedule: Both Residential and Commercial Sanitation Routes will run on Memorial Day (May 25th, 2026) as normally scheduled.

The Customer Call Center (270-762-0380) for Sanitation will close that day at 1:00PM Central Standard Time (2:00PM Eastern Standard Time) for any calls.

The Transfer Station will be closed to the public on Memorial Day.

Road Closure Notice:

On May 8th and May 9th, the section of North 14th Street between Payne and Olive Streets will be closed to through traffic between 7:00 AM and 4:00 PM each day. The west end of Wells Blvd. at the 14th Street intersection will also be closed on the same days and time to through traffic.

Public Safety Officers will be at each of the barricade locations at all times to remove if needed for any emergency situation.

BOIL WATER ADVISORY LIFTED:

As of 11:06AM, Murray Water System has lifted the Boil Water Advisory for College Farm Road, from 18th Street up to and including Cardinal Pointe subdivision. This also includes: 19th Street, 20th Street and Sherri Lane.
