Happy almost Halloween! 🎃

Join us for Story Time at the Murphys Library tomorrow (Tues, 10/27) at 10:30am. 📚

We’ll be talking, reading, and singing about witches, pumpkins, and spooky things. 🧙‍♀️ Wear your Halloween costume, if you like! 🦇

For our craft, we will be making trick-or-treat bags with crayons, glue, and stickers. 🖍️🍬

📚 This week we’re celebrating National Friends of the Library Week and the Friends of the Calaveras County Library (FOTCCL), who make our county branches shine. ✨

Through book sales, special events, recycling, member donations, and more, FOTCCL directly supports our local libraries. And just as importantly, Friends give their time: serving on the board, organizing events, and lending a hand behind the scenes at branches across the county. 💛

The Murphys Library thanks you, Friends, for all you do for our community.

Tomorrow at the Murphys Library Story Time, we will be talking, reading, and singing all about MONSTERS! 👹📚🎶 Join us at 10:30am on Tuesday, October 20th to gnash your teeth 🦷 and wiggle your monster tails! 👾🦖

For our craft this week, we will be gluing googly eyes 👀 and foam pieces to create a silly monster face! Get ready for some monstrously fun creations! ✨

This week marks the 100th birthday of Winnie the Pooh! 🎉 Come celebrate with us at the Murphys Library Story Time on Tuesday, October 13th at 10:30am. 📚 We will talk, read, and sing about Winnie and some other special bears. 🧸🎶

For our craft, we will decorate a Poohsticks bag 🎨👜 and head down to the bridge over Murphys Creek to play this fun game! 🌿🌊
