NC Cooperative Extension Cherokee County Center We Grow North Carolina through Education and Research. A&T State University, and the U.S.

Our programs and partnerships are focused on agriculture and food, health and nutrition, 4-H youth development, and digital skills education. Welcome to the North Carolina Cooperative Extension Service, the largest outreach program at North Carolina State University. Based in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences, we reach millions of North Carolina citizens each year through local centers

in the state’s 100 counties and with the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians. Cooperative Extension is a partnership that began here in 1914 when county, state and federal governments agreed that by joining together they could provide all citizens with access to the wealth of knowledge generated by public universities. Today that partnership includes county governments working to solve local problems, a national network of land-grant universities including NC State and N.C. Department of Agriculture working together, we recognize that we achieve much more than we can alone. Nationally, NC Cooperative Extension provides educational programming in five key areas:
sustaining agriculture and forestry
protecting the environment
maintaining viable communities
developing responsible youth
developing strong, healthy and safe families

THE NC State Extension Master Gardener Volunteers Cherokee County at the Murphy Rehab and Nursing Home providing plants for the raised boxes. Your caring and work is appreciated.

Today we had seven Master Gardener volunteers helping a group of residents of Murphy Rehab and Nursing Home planting the raised boxes in the courtyard. We planted a variety of flowers to last the summer as well as some cherry tomatoes and green peppers. The residents and volunteers will continue tending the gardens and watering the boxes throughout the summer.

Is the inbox for your business a chaotic mess of family messages, client transactions, bank alerts, and industry newsletters?

Using one email for everything isn’t just confusing, it’s a major security risk. When spam and real receipts mix, business to business phishing scams might just slip right through.

To protect your hard work, separate your enterprise digital footprint into FOUR distinct accounts:

👤 Personal: Strictly for family and friends.

💼 Client-Facing: Your public brand inbox. Keep it professional.

🔒 Admin: Private email for banking and sensitive tools. Never share it!

🗑️ "Burner": For free downloads and newsletters.

Transparent inbox management translates into secure business practice. A long weekend is the perfect opportunity to get this done, so do it !
