FULL-TIME Utility Technician I: This position is considered a Safety-Sensitive position. Applicants who pass the interview process will be subject to drug and alcohol testing.

The purpose of this class within the organization is to conduct heavy manual labor in the repair, construction, maintenance and inspection of the water, re-purified water, and wastewater systems.

On this Peace Officer Memorial Day, MWRD honors and remembers the brave officers from our community who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to others.

Today, we reflect on the lives and legacies of Officer Herbert McClanahan, Officer Joseph “Butch” Thomlinson, Jr., Officer Kay Rogers, Captain Byron Motley, and Officer Matt Lovejoy. Their courage, dedication, and sacrifice will never be forgotten.

Murfreesboro Police Department held a Peace Officer Memorial Ceremony yesterday to honor these brave officer.

The purpose of this water quality report is to provide information regarding your drinking water. We want to keep you informed about the water and services that we have delivered to you over the past year, and we are pleased to provide you with this year’s Water Quality Report. The most important part is to let you know that your water is safe for drinking. This report contains important information about the source and quality of your drinking water. Please call (615) 848-3209 or email [email protected] if you would like a hardcopy report delivered to your home. For customers that requested hardcopy reports, mailing will start June 1, 2026.
