Our visitors and guests can enjoy "Behind The Scenes" tidbits of this houses' long and varied history. Nearly all the rooms have framed anecdotes and information on the evolution of the house from its early 1800's beginnings as a two-room Federal cottage to its current incarnation as a featured architectural gem. If you are coming to Northeastern North Carolina on a business trip or for a meeting, plan to stay with us. After a long work day, you can relax in a quiet comfortable environment with all the comforts of home. There are three bedrooms and two baths, a lovely screened porch and rear deck to enjoy. The house is located in the historic district, just a block off of Main Street you are close to restaurants and shopping.

The Murfree-Williams House An Historic Experience

Lovely country house. Great for relaxing from hustle and bustle of city life. House is spacious, there were 7 of us and we didn't have to keep bumping into each other. Nice location too because it is by Main Street where stores are located. Communication with the hostess, Ruth was easy. She responded quickly to our questions/requests.
