Cason Lane Academy Murfreesboro City Schools is a district of thirteen schools serving over 9,000 students in pre-k through 6th grade.

We can’t wait to welcome our newest learners during Kindergarten Preview Day on May 12! From classroom peeks to hallway tours, it’s the perfect chance for families to get a feel for all the exciting moments ahead.

Starting kindergarten is a big (and exciting!) step, and we’re here to help your family feel ready.

Join us for Kindergarten Preview Day on May 12, 2026 and get a first look at what makes Murfreesboro City Schools such a special place for young learners. Tour times vary by school. Please check your school website for more information.

During your visit, you can:
🍎 Take a guided tour of the school
🍎 Visit the kindergarten hallway
🍎 Peek into a classroom
🍎 Ask questions and get help with registration

Need help getting registered?
Registration Assistance will be available on May 12 at all schools and at the MCS Central Office (2552 S. Church St.) from 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

Our AMAZING PTO has truly gone above and beyond for Teacher Appreciation Week! 🎉
This week kicked off with a fun “Dirty Soda Bar” where teachers got to create their own custom drink recipes, followed by a delicious breakfast from Cracker Barrel on Tuesday.
Today is all about relaxation, and we can’t wait to share pictures of the special treats our teachers are enjoying. Stay tuned!
