We’ve had an amazing response to PorkFest. We do hav extras BBQ and sides available on a first come first serve basis at the murfree center.

Up for silent auction through 5pm May 30th.

8” Barbecue chopper Hand made Forged full tang 1095 steel with custom made micarta handles. This chopper was forged and donated to the Murfreesboro Firefighters Association by Mitch Heinke. The minimum bid for this chopper is $300 and bids need to be in increments of $10. You can use the link below to bid or you can bid in person at the Murfree Center on Saturday. Bidding will close at 5pm at both location and a winner will be announced shortly after. The chopper will be on display at the PorkFest.

We are incredibly honored and grateful to the Murfreesboro Chamber of Commerce and EARL 98.3 FM for recognizing the Murfreesboro Volunteer Fire Department with the Community Service Award.

To be recognized by the community we proudly serve means more than words can express. Our department is made up of individuals who dedicate countless hours training, responding to emergencies, supporting community events, and working behind the scenes to help keep Murfreesboro safe.

We are proud to serve this town, and we are thankful to serve alongside a community that believes in and supports its fire department.
