Today, we pause to remember and honor the lives lost on September 11, 2001, and reflect on the courage, sacrifice, and resilience that emerged from that tragic day.

A heartfelt thank you to the Rutherford County Sheriff's Department for hosting a meaningful 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony and bringing our community together to honor those we lost and those who answered the call to serve.

We are especially grateful for the men and women in law enforcement, fire services, EMS, dispatch, the military, and all first responders who continue to protect and serve our communities every day. Your dedication, bravery, and commitment do not go unnoticed.

On September 8, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, our office will be temporarily closed while our team participates in professional development training focused on crisis intervention and de-escalation.
By strengthening these critical skills, we can continue providing compassionate, informed, and effective support to survivors when they need it most.

We honor the strength, resilience, and experiences of all survivors.
