We are proud to recognize Officer Justin Dial on his graduation today from Class 560 of the Department of Criminal Justice Training (DOCJT) Law Enforcement Basic Training Program in Richmond, Kentucky.

Over the past 20 weeks, Officer Dial has completed 800 hours of rigorous training—preparing him to serve and protect with integrity, professionalism, and dedication.

This milestone marks the beginning of what we know will be a distinguished career in law enforcement. Officer Dial will be an exceptional asset to our department, and we are very excited to have him serving the City of Munfordville.

We do not have a secretary that is at our office to answer the phone calls that come directly to the police department. Police personnel are out within the city answering calls of service along with patrolling. Munfordville City Police Department is looking to hire another patrolman.

Police Officer Patrolman must possess Kentucky POPS Certification, valid drivers license, high school diploma or equivalent and complete required annual training. Pass a background check, drug screen, oral interview and be fingerprinted. Knowledge of current development in law enforcement and public safety, federal, state, and local laws, administrative regulations and ordinances and their application in work assignments. perform in accordance with the law enforcement programs for the city, general duty police work in protection of life and property, enforcement of laws, conflict management, investigation of crimes and performs related work as required. A complete job description, general duties and responsibilities provided upon request. Competitive pay ranging from $35,734 to $46,280 plus incentive pay, vacation, sick days and insurance.
