We’re so excited to kick off our 7th Annual Fuel the Cause Fundraiser! 🚨

In case it's your first time hearing about Fuel the Cause, here's what you need to know: Nearly 90% of firefighters in Pennsylvania are volunteers. They sacrifice their safety and time with their families to keep us safe, and they rely heavily on donations to fund essential training, equipment, and emergency response. But for most fire companies in PA, volunteers and donations are down.

Over the past six years, we've partnered with our customers and sponsors to raise over $700,000 for the fire companies that serve our stores. Here's how you can help us make this year's fundraiser our biggest one yet:

🚗 Fuel Up – With help from Pennsylvania Skill games, we’re donating 2¢ per gallon of gas sold in April and May to local fire companies.
🍔 Eat Up – Grab a meal from our limited time Firehouse Foods menu, and a portion of the proceeds goes directly to volunteer fire departments.
🔥 Round up – Donate your spare change when you check out at any Nittany MinitMart store.
🗣️ Spread the Word – Share this post to make sure your friends know how easy it is to show up for the volunteers who show up for us

It’s that time of year again for our annual Comedy Night. We hope to see you there!

At 16:34 on New Year’s Eve, Station 52 (Muncy Valley) and 51 (Eagles Mere) were dispatched for a possible garage fire at 96 Benders Road.

Shortly after the initial dispatch, it was confirmed that the garage was fully involved with a house in danger near by. That report then brought apparatus from Laporte, Mildred, Dushore, and Picture Rocks.

Engine and Tanker 52 arrived on scene, quickly stretched two hand lines and got a knock on the garage fire without any damage to the home.

Eagles Mere units established a water supply for tankers to refill while other mutual aid departments assisted with overhaul and shuttling water.

The fire was reported out in approximately one hour from the initial dispatch. Strong work by all personnel involved.

No injuries were reported. Please keep the residents in your thoughts and prayers as the garage and all items inside were a total loss.
