Frankie - Courthouse Facility Dog Frankie's job is to comfort abused and neglected children when they are talking about what has happe Frankie is a licensed Courthouse Facility Dog.

She was specially bred and professionally trained to work in prosecutor’s offices, child advocacy centers, and family courts. Courthouse Facility dogs provide a calming influence for children during stressful legal proceedings.

After eight years of dedicated service, we are proud to announce the retirement of Frankie, Delaware County CASAs beloved courthouse facility dog.

Since 2017, Frankie has been a calm and comforting presence in our halls of justice, offering support and companionship to countless children, victims, and witnesses during some of the most difficult moments of their lives. Her gentle spirit, unwavering patience, and quiet strength have made a lasting impact on everyone who met her, from courtroom professionals to community members.

Whether she was sitting beside a child during testimony or interviews, offering a paw to hold in a tough moment, or simply brightening a long day with her friendly demeanor, Frankie showed us the power of compassion and connection. She reminded us daily that healing and justice go hand in hand.

As Frankie steps into a well-deserved retirement filled with belly rubs, naps, and long walks, we celebrate her incredible contributions and thank her for her years of service. She leaves behind pawprints not only in the courthouse but in the hearts of all who worked with her.

Join us on May 23rd anytime between 12 & 2 to celebrate Frankie in the Circuit Court 3 Courtroom.
