Muncie Indiana Transit System Getting around Muncie could not be easier when you ride with MITS (Muncie Indiana Transit System).

The Muncie Indiana Transit System, MITS, is an award winning transit system that has been serving the public transportation needs of the community since it was formed in 1981. MITS is organized as a public transportation corporation as specified by state statutes and city council ordinance. It is directed by a five member board whose members are appointed by the mayor and city council to serve four year terms.

The celebration is here! 🐦 Join us for BSU Homecoming as we celebrate 100 years of Cardinal Tradition!

📣 Parade starts at 9 AM
🏈 Game kicks off at 3:30 PM

MITS will be out and about helping everyone get where they need to go. 🚌 Please plan for minor delays and detours throughout the day and remember to be patient as we navigate the Homecoming festivities.

🚌 RIDER ALERT: BSU/Jackson #2 Route Detour

Due to ongoing construction, the BSU/Jackson #2 route continues to experience detours.

✅ Buses can now access the YOC and FSSA Office.

⚠️ Buses are NOT able to access Payless on Tillotson. Riders traveling to Payless will need to be dropped off at the bus shelter near the Imaging Center.

🚌 RIDER ALERT: BSU/Jackson #2 Route Detour

Please be aware that today through Wednesday, the BSU/Jackson #2 bus will be detoured due to construction.

During this time, fixed-route buses will NOT be able to access the YOC or the FSSA Office.

📞 Need a ride to either location? Special pick-ups can be requested by calling 765-289-MITS (6487).
