Tonight, S/Ms Brossard and Lazzaretti went to the Eagle Scout Court of Honor for Benjamin Buxton of Maltby BSA troop #39.

Benjamin built and installed a flag disposal dropbox and firepit at the Seattle FRA Branch home.

Seattle Fleet Reserve Association Branch 18 is the chartering organization for troop 35 and is based in Mill Creek, WA.

On this day in Philadelphia 99 years ago, the Fleet Reserve Association was founded to advocate for quality of life issues for sea service personnel. As part of our centennial anniversary this coming year and next, Seattle Fleet Reserve Association Branch 18 will sponsor 99 new or reinstated members.

To qualify, you must have either served or are serving in the US Navy, Marine Corps, or Coast Guard as either enlisted or as an officer. The branch requires you to attend at least 4 meetings over the next year in person or virtually.

Our meetings are held on the 2nd Saturdays at noon in Montlake Terrace, with lunch being served.

With heavy heart, we announce the passing of FRA National Executive Director Chris Slawinski of Navy Department Br # 181 this morning surrounded by his family.

Prior to being elected as NED, Shipmate Chris was the association's National Veterans Service Officer and served as the East Coast Regional President for the 2011-12 association year.

Two bell ceremony will be held at the branch officer's installation on Saturday, July 8th, at the branch home starting at 1200.

Seattle Fleet Reserve Association Branch 18 president Jamie McKenzie presents the annual donation of $1000 to the NW Regions Past Regional President Louise Miller essay contest fund to RPNW Rex Faubion at the branches March meeting.

PRPNW Louise Miller was one of the first female master chief corpsman in the navy and was also amung one of the association's female national officers. Her passions were both youth activities and the FRA's American Americanism Patriotism essay contest.
