Storm Debris Pickup

Please place storm debris at the curb for pickup by Mountain Lakes DPW crews.

Only natural vegetation will be collected, including tree branches and limbs. Debris must be cut into sections no longer than 4 feet.

DPW crews will collect debris during regular work hours, Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Crews will pass through all streets several times during the coming week, so items that are not placed out immediately will still be picked up.

Natural vegetation debris may also be brought to the DPW Recycling Facility during regular Recycling Center hours: Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday, 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

As a reminder, grass clippings will not be picked up and may not be disposed of at the Recycling Center.

This Memorial Day, we pause to honor and remember the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Their sacrifice is the foundation of the freedoms we enjoy every day.

As a community, let’s take a moment to reflect, show gratitude, and support the families who carry their legacy forward. Whether you’re attending a local ceremony, spending time with loved ones, or simply observing a moment of silence, may we never forget the true meaning of this day.

Wishing everyone a safe and meaningful Memorial Day

5/24 UPDATE - Advisory: Memorial Day Parade Canceled due to predicted weather.

Due to Monday's predicted weather, we will not hold our annual Memorial Day Parade. We will still hold a small ceremony at Memorial Park on Lake Drive to honor our fallen servicemen and women. The ceremony will begin at noon on Monday 5/25/26. Thank you.

Memorial Day Parade & Ceremony - Monday, May 25th at 10am
The Borough cordially invites all residents, friends and neighbors to this year’s Memorial Day Parade & Ceremony. The parade will step off at 10 a.m. in front of Wildwood Elementary School and the ceremonies will take place immediately following the parade at Memorial Park. In the event of inclement weather, there will be no parade. Instead, the traditional placement of the wreaths will take place at 9:30 a.m. at Memorial Park. We hope you can join us in honoring and remembering those men and women who have given their lives for our Country and who have helped to preserve the freedoms we enjoy today.
