I set a goal to visit every voter's home in my district, and today I'll finish! I've had a lot of great in depth conversations -- everything from funding and teacher retention to bullying to overcrowding at our schools. I can't wait to represent my community and help LUSD continue to excel!

I’m thrilled to announce that I’m running for a trustee position representing District 2 on our local Lammersville Unified School Board. 🎉 As a proud father of two amazing boys who attend Hansen Elementary School, and a dedicated advocate for our district since moving to Mountain House in 2015, I am passionate about ensuring our schools continue to thrive.

My commitment to our community and our schools is rooted in my personal experience as a lifelong public school student, from kindergarten through graduate business school.

Here’s what I’m focused on:

✅ Supporting Our Students' Success: Building on the strong work that has earned our district a top ranking in the area.

✅ Attracting Top Talent: Continuing to recruit and retain the best teachers and staff who make a difference every day.

✅ Enhancing Transparency & Communication: Pushing for clearer, more open decision-making processes so that every voice is heard.

✅ Advocating for IEP Support: Fighting for increased resources and support for our IEP program to ensure ALL students receive the focus they need.

✅ Fiscal Responsibility: Leverage my MBA and work experience overseeing budgets to drive smart and effective financial decisions for the benefit of our schools and students.

In addition to my commitment to education, I have served for four years on the LUSD Bond Oversight Committee and have been an active participant in numerous school board meetings. I’m honored to have the support of several current school board trustees as I take this step.

I’m excited about the opportunity to make a positive impact and continue to build on our district’s success.
