The Northeast Lakeside Fire Department is a 25 member paid-per-call fire department with 1 Ladder, 2 Engines, 1 Light Rescue, 2 Tankers and 1 Brush Truck running out of 2 stations, Station 1 located off Highway 62 East and station 2 located off of Buzzard Roost, responding to but not limited to structure and commercial fires, brush fires, alarms, motor vehicle crashes, boat fires, water rescue and

more. The department is also automatic aid for Gamaliel Volunteer Fire Department, Henderson Volunteer Fire Department, Handcove Volunteer Fire Department and for Mountain Home Fire Department.
