Meet Peaches and Skipper! Peaches is a 4 year old Husky/Malamute mix. She’s a big girl! She values her “alone time” in her kennel, where she often sleeps with the door open during the day. It’s her safe space and always has been! When she isn’t sleeping (she sleeps a LOT), she’s busy playing with Skipper, they love to play with each other. She can be a bit mischievous if things are left out for her to find and is a little antsy when she isn’t playing or sleeping. She isn’t your typical husky, she rarely howls! Peaches is potty trained, kennel trained, and knows her basic commands (sit, lay down, stay, paw). She loves to go on walks but also likes to “rear up” when she gets excited, normally when she sees another dog! Skipper is a 2 year old Korean Village Dog, turning 3 at the end of this year. Skipper does love to bark at noises and new people. Once he gets comfortable with the new people he will stop barking but it can take some time! Patience is key. When he isn’t barking or sleeping (he also LOVES his sleep), he’s playing with Peaches. These two LOVE to play, and don’t let his size fool you! Ever since he was a puppy he has played with Peaches as if he was her size. He is a very vocal dog when playing and likes to yap at her, they can sound a little crazy! They play rough, but they love it. Skipper does have skin allergies. He is an absolute sweetie dog and loves to be pet, he does lick when you’re petting him but it’s with love! He will roll over on his back so you can scratch his belly and wag his tail for you. He is potty trained, kennel trained, and knows his basic commands (sit, lay down, stay, paw). Both dogs are up to date on vaccines and are fixed. Peaches and Skipper are looking for a home where they could go together. If interested please contact Sydney at 520-906-0779.
