Basic Independence Apartments


Our apartment complex is designed for those individuals who wish and are able to live a more independent lifestyle and consists of 16 one bedroom apartments. Many of our apartment clients also attend the local center and a few are employed at minimum wage jobs in town. Our staff dedicates time to each client on a daily basis. The amount of time spent varies dependin

g on the client’s specific needs. Weekly shopping trips are provided by our staff and cooking classes are offered to help teach safe food preparation and promote healthy food choices. Many of these clients are members of a local gym. Each person is free to enjoy only the activities they choose to participate in. Ozark Community Home

Our group home offers a supervised living program for those clients who require 24 hour care and assistance. We offer our clients a homelike atmosphere with staff present 24 hours a day. Clients attend a local center where they work and attend life skills classes. All meals are prepared fresh by our staff and are nutritious and delicious. Meals are served at the dining room table with staff present, our clients and staff enjoying the family time it allows. Meal clean up is done by the clients on a rotating basis; and each client has weekly chores he/she is responsible for. Clients are free to spend time with each other or work at their own activities.
