Thank you to everyone for the incredible generosity you’ve shown in support of those impacted by the Mountain Home fire.

At this time, there is no need for additional donated items. These items take time to sort and require resources that can pull us away from delivering immediate assistance. The best way to ensure people receive the support they need quickly is through a financial donation.

To support disaster response efforts big and small, please consider making a gift at redcross.org/idaho.

We also want to give a special thank you to the Elks Lodge for opening their doors and providing a space for our evacuation center, along with their members who stepped up to assist. Your support has made a meaningful difference.

Due to the local fires, our Community Closet is open to support families in need.

The Community Closet will be open May 28–29 from 9:00 AM–3:30 PM and is fully stocked with clothing for the whole family, along with household supplies available at no cost to anyone in need.

Location: Backside of Hacker Middle School on E. Second North St.

Hacker Middle School is offering a FREE 2-week summer program focused on building math skills and improving reading fluency and efficiency.

We are accepting upcoming 5th graders and exiting 6th graders. The program will run:
June 1–12
Monday–Friday
8:30 AM–12:30 PM

We kicked off our LAST friday of the school year with lots of fun activities. Thank you Lions Club, and Mt. Home Library for always supporting our students. And Thank You Mrs. Smith & Mr. Clark on being sooooo willing to take a slime bath each year with our students vs. principals trivia game!
