⚠️ NOTICE REGARDING BURNED DEBRIS

For the safety of landfill operations and the public, the Elmore County Landfill cannot accept burned debris until it has remained unburned for a minimum of two (2) weeks.

Burned materials can retain hidden heat and may reignite, creating a fire hazard during transport and disposal. Please ensure all burned debris has completely cooled and remained unburned for at least two weeks before bringing it to the landfill.

We appreciate your cooperation and patience as we work to keep our community and facilities safe.

Elmore County Office Closure – Memorial Day

Elmore County offices will be closed on Monday, May 25th, in observance of Memorial Day.

We take this day to honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice while serving our country.

County offices will reopen for regular business hours on Tuesday, May 26th. As always, emergency services will remain available.
