**Job Opportunity**

The Northeast Public Water Authority is seeking qualified applicants for a Full-Time Laborer. This position has the potential to grow into a licenced water operator position. We are looking for dependable individuals who can work in various weather conditions and meet the physical demands of the role.

**Key Qualifications:**
- Valid Driver's License
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Willingness to be on-call
- Must reside in a close enough proximity to our location at 66 Florence Dr in Mountain Home, AR to respond to any after hours emergency in a reasonable amount of time.

*WINTER PUBLIC ADVISORY*

Water customers, during freezing temperatures, should leave a pencil lead size stream of water running from the cold side of a faucet to help prevent freezing and bursting pipes. It would also be a great idea to lay a mat over your meter box outside. DO NOT “stuff” your meter box with insulation. Insulation will absorb water and freeze causing an added chance of line damage.

Also, do not forget to unhook your water hoses from your outside spigots!

It is getting hot outside!!!! Here are some tips for the heat.

Wear a hat wide enough to protect your face.

Drink plenty of fluids to stay hydrated.

Avoid high-energy activities or work outdoors, during midday heat, if possible.

Check on family members, older adults and neighbors.

Be safe out there!!!

New plumbing of any kind requires a plumbing permit, (purchased at our office), and must be inspected before any covering after installation. This also applies to homeowners doing their own work. This is NOT required for repairs on plumbing.
