Here’s a quick homeschool PE January recap:

Session 1: Youth played volleyball games to learn basic volleyball skills.🏐
Session 2: Youth were split into 2 teams to create a smoothie using fruits and vegetables of their choice. Each team guessed what ingredients were used in the opposite team’s smoothie. Each team then calculated the number of calories in their smoothie based on the ingredients they chose.🥤🍏🍌🫐🥕
Session 3: Playing Just Dance, youth roughly tracked the number of calories burned by completing each dance routine. Throughout the workout, youth enhanced their physical fitness, coordination, focus, and mental/emotional well-being. 💃🕺
Session 4: Youth played flag football activities to enhance their throwing, catching, blocking, and flag pulling (tackling) skills.🏈

*Unspoken rule in our homeschool PE class: We always end the class by playing dodgeball.*
