Lots of progress yesterday!

Thanks to the hard working team at Wade & Gatton Nursery, 2 sycamore trees and a burr oak tree were planted beside the playground.

And 30 wildflower plugs (including state endangered species) from Natives In Harmony were also added to the meadow.

Come to visit, play, and enjoy the beauty!

The penstemon is in full bloom and it's a beautiful time to visit!

Large swathes of beardtongue (penstemon hirsutus) are getting ready to bloom in the meadow! This one is a magenta / bright pink.

Last year the meadow was painted white with beardtongue.

Please note that the playground address and location are incorrect on Apple Maps.

The address is:
12426 Old Mansfield Road
Mount Vernon, Ohio 43050
(park in the Mount Vernon Grace Brethren Church lot)

And the playground is located where the red star is drawn on the map.

Also, the hours are wrong — the playground is open during daylight hours.
