TODAY⚠️: Severe Weather Risk for today has INCREASED⬆️from the Storm Prediction Center with the GREATEST RISK (Level 3) over the Texarkana Region and portions of Southeastern . Very grungy storms are expected today, forming around 4pm in Southeast Oklahoma and moving southeastward. Stroms may become very hail-loaded supercells with sizes up to BASEBALLS⚾️

TORNADO THREAT TODAY🌪️: An Outflow Boundary from yesterday's storms will exist across Southeastern Oklahoma and Western Arkansas, and along the Red River Valley of Texas. Any storms that are able to interact today could produce a tornado worthy of an EF-2 rating. Tornado threat will peak around 5-9pm

***ELEVATED FIRE DANGER***The National Weather Service has issued an elevated fire weather conditions for our area until 7 PM today. Low relative humidity, 10-15 mph winds with higher gusts, and critically dry grass. Extreme drought conditions exist for our area as well. Titus County remains under an outdoor burn ban at this time.

A High Wind Warning is in effect from 7 AM – 7 PM Sunday across much of Oklahoma and northern Texas.
💨 North winds 30–40 mph
💨 Wind gusts up to 65 mph

These winds could down trees and power lines, and power outages are possible. Travel will be difficult, especially for high-profile vehicles.

🔥 RED FLAG WARNING ALSO IN EFFECT
• Relative Humidity: 15–25%
• Temperatures: 60s to mid 70s
• Strong winds + dry air = EXTREME FIRE DANGER

⚠️ Any fires that start could spread rapidly.
🚫 Outdoor burning is strongly discouraged.
