Over the past weekend, I was able to camp at Camp Carlson, just outside of the gates of Ft Knox, KY. I didn’t get the chance to really explore around Post, but I have to say, without the experience there 37 years ago as a 17 year old kid with long hair and a wildness to boot, it truly was “A Great Place To Start”. I feel I have lived up to the slogan from then to “Be All You Can Be”.

Jefferson County IL in conjunction with all the Veterans Services Organizations AND the Mt Vernon Elks held a successful dinner honoring our local enlistees. The event was so successful, we ended up turning people away.

Unfortunately, I was unable to make this work this past year, but with the FB Page and the website coming soon, I want to see this occur again in 2026. Not just here, but EVERYWHERE.

I have the website secured and will be filing it out soon and this page is now up. To everyone who joins this page, please share this with everyone. My stated goal this year is to make this a national day of recognition. We rightfully celebrate our kids graduating who get both academic and sports scholarships, now is the time to start recognizing every young person willing to raise their right hand to continue to defend the freedoms we enjoy!

I have made this request to Rep Mike Bost and VA Secretary Doug Collins. I have not gotten a response from them.

To get this done, we need BIG numbers to convince those who can make this happen!

If you support Freedom, then it’s time to show support for those fighting to maintain it.
