This morning we had the privilege of presenting a special Chamber Appreciation Award to Sarah Kluck and the Summer Meals To-Go Team! District 80 Food & Nutrition Services ☀️🍽️

Their dedication and hard work ensure that children throughout our community and beyond have access to nutritious meals during the summer months, making a meaningful difference in the lives of countless families. We are incredibly grateful for their commitment to serving our youth and strengthening our community.🍎🥕🌽🍊

We’d like to give a shoutout to The Maschhoffs and their Impact Grant for awarding us $1,500 back in March! We are grateful for their partnership and deeply appreciate their support of our students, staff, and school community. The Regional Office of Education #13 provided Orton-Gilligham Core Foundation Literacy Training for 57 area educators this week! This five-day session will equip teachers with effective, research-based strategies to support early literacy development, focusing on phonics, decoding, fluency, and comprehension. Participants will learn to implement the Orton-Gillingham approach, a proven multi-sensory method that enhances reading skills, particularly for students with dyslexia.
