A night to remember.

Participants in the Center for College & Careers (CCC) recently celebrated Prom Night in Mount Vernon, enjoying an evening of music, dancing, and time with friends.

And if you ask us, they looked pretty sharp, too

Your voice. Your vision. Your story.

Last week, employees gathered at West Point Museum for The Access: Network’s Memorial Day Honor Ceremony & Museum Tour, organized by our Veterans Employee Resource Group as a meaningful opportunity for reflection, learning, remembrance, and sharing military experiences.

The event began with a tour of the West Point Museum, where participants learned more about military leaders whose service and sacrifice helped shape our country. Following the tour, attendees took part in the honor ceremony, learning more about military traditions, including how to stand in formation, how to properly salute, and the importance of ceremony and honoring those who served.

During a final roll call, the names of loved ones and fallen service members submitted for recognition were read aloud, creating a powerful moment of remembrance and reflection.

We continue to honor and remember those who gave their lives in service to our country.

On Monday, The Access: Network celebrated the completion of another year of internships across our programs and departments.

Throughout the year, interns gained hands-on experience across human services while exploring different career paths and learning what truly person-centered support looks like alongside teams that lead with compassion, mentorship, humor, and hope.

Congratulations to this year’s interns, and thank you for the care and energy you brought to the work. We know this experience is just the beginning.

If you’re considering an internship, this is more than a placement. It’s a chance to explore your path, build your skills, and grow into what’s next with The Access: Network. To learn more, contact [email protected] or call 888-750-2266.

Over the weekend, The Guidance Center of Westchester took part in NAMIWalks Westchester, connecting with community members, sharing information about available services, distributing naloxone kits, and training dozens on overdose prevention and response.

Events like this create space for conversations that remind us why these services matter. While speaking with families about our Mental Health & Substance Use Urgent Cares, one mother shared how different her son’s experience was from a traditional emergency room setting, describing Urgent Care as a more comfortable and supportive place where he was able to get the help he needed.

Representing TGCW were Glenn Archer, Peer Specialist with SOaR and Sunrise; Judi Tota, Assistant Director for METRO; and Ben Davis, LCSW, Director of Integrated Services.

Taking a few moments to slow down and reconnect with your body can make a difference in the middle of the day.

This week’s Mindset Monday focuses on moving through the body in a mindful way, using breath as a vehicle for relaxation.

Find a position that feels comfortable, and just begin.
