SEDRO-WOOLLEY — Dozens of people are searching Sedro-Woolley for an 80-year-old man with Alzheimer’s disease and dementia who wandered away from the Birchview Memory Care Monday morning and hasn’t been seen since.

Trooper Tony Radulescu was shot and killed while making a traffic stop on State Route 16 at Anderson Hill Road, in Gorst, shortly before 1:00 am.

Police have found the pickup driven by the person who shot and killed a Washington State Patrol trooper during a traffic stop. Officers are still looking for the killer.

Park Ranger Margaret Anderson was shot and killed while attempting to stop a fleeing suspect near the Longmire Ranger Station in Mount Rainier National Park, in Pierce County, Washington, at approximately 10:30 am.
