Young Democrats of Skagit County This is the official page for the Young Democrats of Skagit County. The YDSC is an officially chartered chapter of the Young Democrats of Washington.

To be a member of the YDSC you must reside at least part time in Skagit County and be under the age of 36. Your voice is our voice. Despite our name, we have our own platform and are a separate organization from the Democratic party. Our main goals are youth civic engagement, getting young people jobs in politics, and promoting progressive candidates our general membership supports. If you would l

There is misinformation out there that states if you were in prison, you can't vote. The election office updated their information on their website and the state has updated their laws. As long as you are not currently in prison, you can vote in Washington state. Look at this page for more information:
