From today's Gongwer:

Not all House Republicans are on board with the new funding mechanism, with Rep. Jamie Callender (R-Concord) listing the restoration of the Public Library Fund among his top priorities for the coming budget omnibus amendment."We've had a formula that's been consistent, predictable and budget-able for a while," he said. "I'd prefer to stay with a dedicated stream. Ohio has the best library system in the country, and that's something I know I'm really proud of when I talk to people in other states."

Knox County Ohio Republicans, Mount Vernon Ohio, Central Committee Knox County Ohio

After being accosted by someone last night who has become obsessed, in an unhealthy way, about Drenda Keesee; I thought it was important to once again publicly state my position on this matter. I did not vote to endorse Mrs. Keesee for County Commissioner while on the Knox County Republican Central Committee. I did not vote for her in the primary. I have not been retained or otherwise paid by her. I do not belong to her church or share her religious beliefs. Nonetheless, as a longtime, prominent leader in the Republican Party, I believe she deserves my support unless actual evidence proves otherwise. She was elected overwhelmingly in our primary against two well funded opponents including the incumbent. As an attorney it is my sacred duty to speak out in favor of due process, our legal system, and fundamental fairness. Our founders feared two things most of all, the tyranny of Kings and the tyranny of Mobs. On social media these issues seem so simple, but in real life they are so much more complex and nuanced.
