The Knox County Foundation's Youth Philanthropy Internship is underway!

Recently, our interns kicked off the summer with a day of learning about philanthropy, community impact, and the nonprofit organizations that help strengthen Knox County.

Students visited several local nonprofit organizations, including the Salvation Army, Interchurch Social Services Food Pantry, Winter Sanctuary, YMCA, and New Directions. Along the way, they learned more about the important work these organizations do and how they work together to serve our community.

We're excited to follow their journey throughout the summer.
