Logo myths: true or false?

🤔TRUE OR FALSE?
When working with a designer, you should choose the logo that you like the best.

FALSE. You should choose the logo that does the best job of representing your brand AND that will work well in many different applications — especially in the application that will be the most visible by your audience (whether that’s a sign, a package design, your website, or something else.)
We hear these all the time — so we're setting the record straight.

🤔TRUE OR FALSE?
A logo should still be recognizable in black and white.

TRUE. If it only works because of color, the design isn't strong enough on its own.

🤔TRUE OR FALSE?
Rebranding means starting from scratch.

FALSE. Good rebranding builds on what's already working rather than throwing it out.

🤔TRUE OR FALSE?
A logo is the same thing as a brand.

FALSE. Your brand is your reputation and story — the logo is just the visual mark that represents it.
