Brown County Public Library District We are a full-service Public Library serving all the residents of Brown County, Illinois. The Library began in January 1915 as the Mt. Sterling.

Sterling Public Library serving the residents of the city of Mt. In April 1993 a successful referendum was held creating the Brown County Public Library District making library service available to the entire Brown County community.

🎯 After-Hours Nerf Night at the library TOMORROW!

In collaboration with The Lions Realm we’re inviting you to join us for an evening full of Nerf battles, pizza, and fun! We’ll provide the darts, and The Lion’s Realm will have a few Nerf dart blasters available to use. If you have your own Nerf blaster, we highly encourage you to bring it along. However, don’t worry if you don’t have one, as some will be available to borrow.
