Brown County Public Library District We are a full-service Public Library serving all the residents of Brown County, Illinois. The Library began in January 1915 as the Mt. Sterling.

Sterling Public Library serving the residents of the city of Mt. In April 1993 a successful referendum was held creating the Brown County Public Library District making library service available to the entire Brown County community.

Llama Llama will be visiting us for TWO special StoryWalk events featuring a newly installed book, family fun, and tasty treats!

🕙 10:00 AM — Clark Park StoryWalk Loop
🕑 2:00 PM — Versailles Park

At both locations, Llama Llama will help lead the StoryWalk as we enjoy a newly installed story together. Guests can also enjoy cookies baked by Hillyer Confections and lemonade.
