Kentucky Native Plants
----------------------------
Join Horticulture Agent, Cheyenne Lamb on Wednesday, October 7th at 10:00 a.m. for a Kentucky Native Plant class at the Montgomery County Extension Office.
Fall is the perfect time to plant Kentucky native plants! Cooler temperatures and increased soil moisture encourage strong root development from early fall through late spring. Kentucky native plants are well adapted to a variety of growing conditions across the state and provide valuable food and habitat for pollinators and other wildlife.
Feel free to bring native plant seeds to share with the group as we work together to support Kentucky's native landscapes and gardens.
Call the office at 859-498-8741 to sign up!
