Yesterday marked one year since we lost Logan Jester — a son, a friend, and a proud member of the Tri-County Joint Fire District family.
Logan chose a life of service. He answered the call at all hours, showed up when others were facing their worst days, and did the hard work quietly and without seeking recognition. There’s no badge big enough to measure that kind of heart — just commitment, courage, and a willingness to put others before yourself.
Over this past year, his absence has been felt deeply — around the station, on calls, and in the everyday moments that used to include his presence. But so has his impact. The friendships he built, the lives he touched, and the example he set continue to live on within the department and throughout our community.
We remember Logan not only for the loss we carry, but for the way he lived — steady, selfless, and dedicated to serving others.
Gone, but never forgotten.
